Applications:
Calcined kaolin is mainly used for manufacturing high-quality refractory products, refractory castable, sagger, kiln furniture, crucibles, ceramic fiber, precision casting sand, ceramics products, etc.
Storage condition:
1. Keep the storage device sealed, stored in a cool and dry place, and ensure that the work room has good ventilation or exhaust device.
Stability:
1. Slightly soluble in hydrochloric acid and acetic acid at room temperature, easily dispersed in water or other liquids. Easy to disperse, good covering performance, high whiteness. It has good plasticity, high adhesion, excellent electrical insulation, strong ion adsorption and weak cation exchange.
2. Kaolin has high whiteness and brightness, soft quality, strong water absorption and easy decomposition suspended in water. It has good plasticity and high bonding property. Excellent electrical insulation; Good acid solubility resistance; Strong ion adsorption and ion exchange, good sintering property and high refractoriness and other properties.
3. Insoluble in water, dilute acid and alkali metal hydroxide solution. Metakaolin is decomposed when heated to 525ºC.
